Restaurant Week's for Suckers

Find better bargains at some of Philly's best restaurants

If spending $35 on dinner during Restaurant Week isn't in your budget,  you don't have to miss out on the delicious bargains at some of Philadelphia's best eateries.

Head to Jose Garces' Basque-influenced Tinto off Rittenhouse Square after work tonight. While the ill-advised try to cram themselves into a limited number of tables at Amada, those in the know are enjoying Tinto's Happy Hour specials.

From 5-7 Mondays through Fridays, Tinto offers half-priced sangria and reduced prices on beer. The best part of the bargain is the free pinxtos (the Basque equivalent of tapas). That's right, free food! Leave the $35 prix-fixes for the suckers… you've found a workaround that enables you to try the food and leaves more money in your pocket.
