Experience a little piece of Philly beer history at the Philadelphia Real Ale invitational held at Yards Brewing Company  in Northern Liberties for the second consecutive year.

The Sunday, March 21 event is a beer lover’s dream showcasing 20 different cask conditioned beers. Cask ale -- a Philly beer craft tradition -- is unfiltered and brewed in the cask it’s served in, creating a fresh taste.

The Philadelphia Real Ale Invitational will feature some of the nation’s top cask ale brewers including local faves like Allentown/Bethlehem Brew Works, Manayunk Brewing Company, Iron Hill Brewery, Philadelphia Brewing Company and Victory Brewing Company

Brew gurus will have the chance to tour the Yards facility getting up close and personal with everything from the bottling line to the newly renovated tasting room.

The Jazz Horses will provide the music and each ticket holder will receive a commemorative beer glass.

Tickets start at $50, but if you want the full beer lovers experience, spring for the VIP ticket. It gets you in an hour early for a private tour with brew master and owner Tom Kehoe.
