A year-round farmer's market will open on Saturday, Jan. 16 at the Piazza at Schmidt’s in Northern Liberties

The market will feature more than 20 farmers selling the best of locally produced foods and products like grass-fed beef, free-range chicken, artisan cheese, bread and baked goods, winter veggies and fruit, free trade coffee and lots more, including prepared foods to enjoy while you look around.

The works of local artists will also be available for purchase starting in April.

The farmer's market will be open every Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and parking is free in the lot across from the Piazza. Public transportation stops include the Market-Frankford Line, Girard Avenue Trolleys and 2nd Street bus routes.
