Just because the summer has ended doesn't mean the fun has to go with it. Celebrate the arrival of autumn with the Downingtown Fall Fest, located on East Lancaster Avenue.
The festival, which takes place Sunday Oct. 3, from noon to 4 p.m. has a little something for everyone. The event promises a wide variety of food and products with 15 restaurants and 37 business vendors participating this year.
Highlights include the "Brewpub on Wheels" from the Victory Beer Garden, brewery tours every 30 minutes from the Victory Brewing Company, goods and producers from the Farmers Market, and a Craft show at Kerr Park just across Wallace Avenue in the Log House Field, from 11a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Fall Fest also features live music from "School of Rock," "Tim McGlone & the Turn," and "The Fabulous Greaseband"
Fans of freestyle biking can watch a BMX performance by Freecycle Action Sports while the kids (and adults) can enjoy appearances by Games2U Entertainment and Happy Heart Clown.
So whether you're into BMX, beer, great music, or great food, come on out to Downingtown on Sunday. Because summer isn't the only season to party.
