Get Your Green on at Sea Isle City Irish Fest

Drink up, Irish-style

There are at least six more months until St. Patrick's Day, but that doesn't mean you can't get a taste o' the Irish -- and their beer -- now.

The Sea Isle City Irish Weekend festival has live music, Irish dancers, and food, as well as bar specials, of course. There's also an Irish Market with food, Irish novelties, clothing, jewelry and other goods on sale through 7 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. A few Sea Isle City vendors will be there too.

The three-day festival started Friday and runs through Sunday, Sept. 27 at the LaCosta Lounge, located at JFK Boulevard and Landis Avenue.

If all you're into is the music and drinks, LaCosta Lounge is where to go -- be it the front parking lot, under the tent, or in the Lounge.

As New Jersey Monthly notes, there's also an Irish weekend fest in North Wildwood, but Sea Isle City's likely to be less crowded, so it might be worth checking out.
