Eating Well On A Budget

Can’t afford dinner? Try lunch instead

We've been dying to a peek inside new steakhouse Union Trust since it opened but we’re not sure we can stomach the prices. It’s not really the place to go when you’re watching your waistline or budget. But we’re resourceful… and found a way to bypass shelling out a couple hundred just for a taste of the good life. It's called lunch!

Average Joes can finally ogle the interior of carnivorous hot spot on weekdays from 11:30 to 3:00. While you can't partake of the $100 Wagyu strip steak while the sun still shines, there’s a slow-smoked Wagyu beef chili on the lunch menu for a fraction of the price. Other options include Cajun meatloaf with mashed potatoes, a 10-ounce USDA prime burger and a muffaletta sandwich.

Now when people ask if you've eaten there, you can say, "been there, done that," and you won't still be paying it off!
