The well-loved Cuban restaurant that makes the best mojito in Philly will also be available to you any time you head down I-95 to our nation's capital.

Cuba Libre Restaurant and Rum Bar, a fantastic Cuban restaurant that is also located in Philadelphia, Orlando, Fla. and Atlantic City, N.J. is moving into the corner of  Ninth and H streets in D.C., says metrocurean.

Co-owners Barry Gutin and Larry Cohen signed a lease for 799 Ninth St. NW and plan  to open their 200-seat restaurant next spring.

The restaurant will serve lunch and dinner and the layout includes a large patio space. Award-winning chef Guillermo Pernot heads this culinary gem, as he does all the rest.

Like its sister locations, the restaurant will transport guests to Old Havana circa the 1950s with its open-air tropical ambiance, Latin rhythms and extensive selection of tropical cocktails and tantalizing fare," according to information provided by the company to metrocurean.
