Bon Appetit is holding a bake-off -- a virtual one, that is -- and they're offering some great prizes.

Anyone can participate in the Bon Appetit Blog Envy Bake-Off, all you need is a food blog and a killer holiday dessert recipe.

So choose what you bake wisely because the competition could get pretty heated. Then post the recipe on your blog. But wait, before you dig in, take a picture of the finished product to be uploaded onto the Web site.

Next, vote for the most delicious looking desserts in each category. The winner will be selected after the top scoring dessert in each category is baked in the Bon Appetit Test Kitchen.

The prizes are big -- the winner well receive a trip for two to New York City and dinner with the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine.

The contest has already started and the last day to submit a recipe is Dec. 13.
