Cheaper Than The Prix-Fixe

Who needs Restaurant Week?

We dream about it… the giant monstrosity covered with Gruyere cheese and onions. Don't forget the frites! How good does a Rouge burger sound right about now? If you think you can't afford the splurge for lunch, think again.

Rouge recently unveiled its new "Choose Two" lunch menu on weekdays from 11:30 to 4. For $16, diners can select two items from the special menu that includes smaller versions of Rouge classics. Yes, that does include a manageable 3-ounce version of their famous burger. You actually might be able to finish it this time (and be able to try something else on the menu as well -- imagine that!)

The "Choose Two" menu also includes a smoked salmon BLT, short ribs with white bean ragout and braised cabbage (perfect on a wintry day) and pan-seared scallops.

So while you're co-workers are relegated to choosing between dishes on Restaurant Week menus, you can indulge in what you really want – that burger!
