Just in time for Beer Week, Tria Washington Square (1137 Spruce St.) is hosting the second annual Philly Beer Geek Challenge
Each contestant competes in a blind taste test of six local beers. They must identify both the beer and the style of brew.
Qualifiers from this opening event go on to the semifinals, March 5 at Manayunk Brewpub, where they’ll compete for a chance to participate in the finals on March 12—and for $1,000 in beer-related prizes.
