What I like about this look?

Eddie’s look is the epitome of summer monochromatic "coolness", without looking like a penguin. Forget throwing on over the top colors, flashy shorts and flip flops and stick to the basics. Dressing like a grown-up and still fitting in to the season is what his outfit does amazingly well for him. He gives off that nautical air by pairing navy and white together, he immediately has the perfect summer vibe. Note his  blue & white striped nylon belt. By adding this striped belt to this look the color transition from shirt to navy trousers is seamless. He injects a bit of his personality into this outfit with the addition of the monogrammed, navy blue, suede loafers as his choice in footwear (great touch!).

Where could this outfit be worn?

Guys, this can be your everyday summer look. For the guy that is not too dressed by nature, the nylon belt and polo style shirt will keep the look casual. If you plan to wear this look all day and maybe plan on heading to a lounge of some sort or just a place that doesn't allow sneakers, his  choice in the dressy footwear definitely saves the day. If you are planning to head to a midday summer party, lunch or even a casual Friday at the office, this look is spot on.

Where can you buy this particular look?

To find a shirt in a rugby or short sleeved polo style, brands like J.Crew, Ralph Lauren and Michael Bastian are the front runners. Nylon or woven belts are a versatile accessory to add to your spring/summer wardrobe. Brands like Kiel James Patrick, Jack Wills, BDG via Urban Outfitters and Lands End all carry nylon or woven style belts. A solid pair of chino (trousers) will go a long way throughout the warmer months. Brands like Bonobos, H&M, Uniqlo and Ralph Lauren all carry a variety of solid color chinos as well as patterned options. If you would like to sport a pair of formal dress loafers, look no further than brands like Del Toro Shoes, Stubbs & Wootton, Aldo Shoes and Animas Code. Many of these shoes brands offer the option of customizing many features of these shoes.

Style Tip?

If you are not the dress loafer type-of-guy, switch out his style of shoe for a boat shoe, white canvas sneaker or even a pair of espadrilles. The completely nautical monochromatic look may not be your thing. Swap out the blue & white nylon belt for a color with some pop (orange, red or green). Overall, this look really is a great option for any guy this summer.
