This week's Profile is Katherine Pietrangelo of Philadelphia. Philly Fashion guru Catriona Whitehead tells us why Katherine Pietrangelo is this week's That Girl.

What I like about this look.

How rugged she looks. While she’s wearing a striped jersey skirt, her industrial boots, bomber jacket, and sack bag with pockets give her the overall appearance of an adventurer—or shall we say adventuress. Her pieces do not perfectly match, but that’s the beauty of this ensemble. It looks as if she woke up this morning and decided to ride a motorcycle cross country. On a more specific styling note, the fitted short jacket exposes the smallest part of her waist, helping to reveal the contours of her body beneath the loosely fitted skirt (similar to That Girl Nicole Rossi). The caramel brown shoes match her hobo bag, while helping to pull in the soft blue from her skirt. Speaking of, the stripey skirt serves as the statement piece in this case, providing a little bit of fun to the overall practical appearance. The thick scarf is a good texture addition and tempers the slick cold look of the leather jacket.

Where could this outfit be worn?

This outfit is good for relatively easy day activities: going to class, hanging with friends, browsing a few shops, etc.

Where can you buy this particular look?

A jersey cotton skirt (striped or not) is best found at American Apparel, Neiman Marcus, Old Navy, Piperlime,Polyvore.com, etc. Boots like this can be found at Beso.com, DSW, JCPenney, Shopstyle.com, Steve Madden, etc. Her bag can be found at such retailers as Polyvore.com, Topshop.com, Urban Outfitters, etc. The cropped leather jacket: any major department store, H & M, Urban Outfitters, Zara, etc.

    Style tip?

The one thing I would change is the black leather jacket. I’m all in favor for a cropped jacket, I just recommend using a different color. While the rest of the ensemble contains softer tones, the black just seems stark and in opposition of the general hipster vibe I’m getting.
