On Friday the FDA approved eyelash-thickening drug Latisse. The active ingredient in Latisse is the same found in the drug Lumigan, used for treating glaucoma, that caused eyelash growth. You're supposed to apply Latisse directly to the upper lash line. Possible side effects include eye redness, itchiness, and darkening of the eyelid skin. The drug could even cause the colored part of the eye to become browner, potentially permanently. So your eyelashes will be longer and you'll look like a stoner. Sexy! [Reuters]
