No one to snuggle with this Valentine’s Day? No problem.
While many of the city’s couples will be paying through the nose for overrated dinners at stuffy restaurants, you can celebrate the Hallmark Holiday in a much better (and frothier) way: The Philadelphia ExBEERiment’s Valentine’s Day Beer Crawl.
Meet at Fergie’s Pub (1214 Sansom St.) at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, then trek to Devil’s Alley (1907 Chestnut St.), Liberty Bar (2204 Market St.) and other laid-back dives where you won’t have to worry about dressing up or pronouncing “foie gras.”
No tickets are needed, no covers required. There will be drink specials all night long, and everyone who participates will receive their very own ExBEERiment pin—to show off to their friends who were stuck sipping wine at overpriced restaurants.
