Ah, summer – a warm breeze, snuggling on the grass and free movies under the stars every other Thursday.

June 10 kicks off Schuylkill Banks Movie Nights where you can catch a free flick on the big screen.

So grab a chair (or a blanket), a friend and some snacks and hit the Banks by the Walnut Street Bridge. Movies start when the sun goes down (8:15 p.m.).

The first film of the summer is “Dave,” but if Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver don't tickle your fancy, there's a plethora of other movies in upcoming weeks.

    June 24: "The Great Outdoors"
    July 8: "Romancing the Stone"
    July 22: "Best in Show"
    August 5: "Groundhog Day"
    September 2: "National Treasure"
