"Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World," based on the graphic novel of the same name, is the story of a boy -- wait -- make that a man. Actually, let's say it's a movie about a man-boy who falls for a girl.

But before the man-boy and his new flame can really be together, Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) must defeat seven of her evil exes. Ultimately he must defeat the most evil of all, Gideon Gordon Graves (Jason Schwartzman), in a Jackie Chan-style showdown  -- seriously, they were trained by Chan's team.

Schwartzman and Cera are joined by an eclectic and talented cast of superstars which includes Anna Kendrick, who has starred opposite George Clooney in "Up in the Air" and plays the role of  Belle's best friend in "Twilight," not to mention she's been nominated for an Oscar, a Tony and won a bunch of other awards). Kendrick plays Scott's baby sis alongside other talents such as Chris Evans -- an evil ex, Kieran Culkin, and, of course, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, a.k.a. Pilgrim's new lady, Ramona Flowers.

But before we give too much of the movie away...

We spoke to Jason and Anna -- who, by the way, were funny, fun and way down-to-earth -- and they gave us their top five reasons why you should check out "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World"

Top Five Reasons according to Anna Kendrick:
1)  It's awesome
2) Michael Cera's hilarious
3) Edgar Wright's a genius
4) Cast of hotties
5) Cast of hunks

Top Five Reasons according to Jason Schwartzman:

1) Funniest movie you'll see all year
2) Second funniest movie you'll see all year
3) It's awesome
4) It's got it all: comedy, action, romance, music
5) Michael Cera is a genius

So, both Jason and Anna agree, "It's awesome" and so is Michael Cera, but, with the same amount of physical training, who would kick who's butt in real life?

"I would never fight him, never," says Schwartzman.

Kendrick confirms, "Jason would lay down his life before he fought Michael."
