Say Sayonara to the Spectrum with Pearl Jam, Springsteen

Pearl Jam last to perform at Spectrum

Pearl Jam will be the last band to ever -- EVER -- rock the Spectrum.

“It’s really great to play a place with so much history and so much integration of culture,” said Pearl Jam lead singer Eddie Vedder. “To be able to play the Spectrum is very memorable for us.”

And attending PJ's October 28 and 30 shows can be memorable for you too -- if you can get tickets. They go on sale on Friday, July 17 and trust us, they're going to go fast. To ensure that you'll be a part of Philly history log on to ComcastTIX.com or LiveNation.com, call 800-298-4200 or get your butt to the Wachovia Complex box office.

But Pearl Jam closing out the Spectrum isn't the only good news.

Comcast Spectacor announced on Wednesday that they've added two Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band performances, so if you missed them last time, now's your chance. Grab your tickets for Bruce's October 13 and 14 shows on Monday, July 27.

Both bands' shows are part of the Spectrum's Farewell Concert Series. Additional performers will be announced in coming weeks.
