For the ultimate Halloween experience, head to the Spirits of '76 Ghost Tour.

Members of the tour will walk to more than 20 haunted locations throughout Philly, hearing ghost stories galore the whole way with only the moonlight (and streetlights) to guide them.

If you're the kind of person who jumps five feet in the air when your friend says "boo," this tour is probably not be your idea of a great night out. But for all the Halloween lovers out there, you're sure to be scared out of your mind.

You'll visit places like the set of "The Sixth Sense" and Edgar Allen Poe's house and hear stories about firsthand ghost encounters at monuments and buildings that you pass all the time but never knew they were haunted.

Tours are offered daily at 7:30 p.m., but on Friday and Halloween, they won't leave until 9:30 p.m.

If you're scared of the dark, you can take the tour in the daylight, but that won't protect you from the freaky stories you'll still be hearing.
The tour leaves from the corner of 4th and Chestnut. Tickets are $17.50 for adults and $12.50 for kids -- if you like to be spooked, don't miss out on this bone-chilling experience.
