311 will rock the Festival Pier tonight.

BEAUTIFUL DISASTER: Genre fusers 311 bring the funk to the Festival Pier. Blending alternative rock, hip-hop, ska and reggae, the Nebraska band notched six top five hits. The show starts at 7 p.m. with Ziggy Marley opening. Tickets cost $49.50 and are available at the Ticketmaster Web site. Plus, 311 is offering three live tracks available for digital download with each ticket purchase.

FUNNY GUYS: Laugh off your nagging case of the Mondays by heading down to Helium Comedy Club for the “Last Laugh Comedy Series.” Joe Clair and B-Phlat headline the 6:30 p.m. show. Tickets are $20. For questions or to make a reservation, call 215.496.9001.

THUNDER STRUCK: If you’re in the mood for a satire that is the opposite of political correctness,the Trocadero has got you covered. Tropic Thunder, starring Ben Stiller, Jack Black & Robert Downey Jr., holds no punches. Three dollars gets you into the movie and also goes toward a drink or snack of your choice. Get there before 7 p.m. and get a free beer and bag of popcorn too. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:00 p.m.
