Pa. Teen Lives “America's Got Talent” Dream

America’s Got Talent had a bit of local representation Tuesday night.

Dylan Andre, from Zeiglersville, Pa., was live in Hollywood competing in the first round of the show.

The most amazing part of his journey onto the hit NBC show could be that Dylan taught himself guitar.

The musician and singer/songwriter started performing in coffee shops and sang mostly cover songs. He then expanded his talent and started writing and arranging his own music.

After graduating Perk Valley High School in 2010, he attended Montgomery County Community College but left that same year to pursue his dream.

Dylan was also an All-Star Cheerleader at the Spring Valley Heat gym in Pottstown for about seven years.

You can show your support for the only Pennsylvanian or any of your other favorite AGT contestants by voting now. Polls close at 6 a.m. Wednesday.

Dylan isn't the first Pa. native on AGT. Philly's own Bianca Ryan won the first season of the show as an 11-year-old in 2006.
