Thanksgiving might not be here yet, but that doesn't mean it's too early to start celebrating Christmas.
"Let's Get Lit" -- Chestnut Hill's tree lighting ceremony on Friday -- will help you get into the holiday spirit if you were having a little trouble doing it on your own.
The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Christ Ascension Luteran Church and will include refreshments and entertainment. Stores in the area will also be open late so you can get a head start on that Christmas shopping while getting your first dose of holiday cheer.
They're pulling out all the Christmas stops -- Santa, carolers and even mummers. And yes, we're assuming that they'll be dressed up.
