NJ TRANSIT is looking to help you get around this Thanksgiving weekend -- in fact, they're working very hard.

Customer service reps and volunteers have offered to work extra hours and they've added extra rail and bus services to make sure you reach your destination.

Ditching work on Wednesday? NJ Transit is offering "early getaway" buses and trains on Nov. 25 for riders leaving town early and so that there is enough space for the many travelers.

On Turkey Day, extra trains and buses have been added to accommodate people attending the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

Of course on Black Friday, buses traveling to New Jersey shopping centers will be added to the schedule, as will trains heading to and from NYC.

And as if easy travel and zero traffic isn't incentive enough, NJ TRANSIT is also inviting kids under 11 to travel for free. That's right, for each adult fare purchased, a child rides for free beginning on Wed., Nov 25 at 7 p.m. until Monday, Nov. 30 at 6 a.m.
