‘Jersey Shore' Star Dances Her Way to Seaside Court

Deena Cortese is being charged with disorderly conduct after she danced in the street disrupting traffic last month, police said.

Dancing in the streets might have been fun to do in the days of Motown, but it has landed a "Jersey Shore" cast member in court.

Deena Cortese is due in Seaside Heights municipal court Tuesday on a disorderly conduct charge of "improper behavior.'" Police say she was dancing in a roadway, interfering with the flow of traffic last month. Her hearing was originally scheduled for Tuesday morning but was postponed until the afternoon.

Cortese is the latest member of the MTV reality show to run afoul of the law.

Cast member Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi pleaded guilty to disturbing beachgoers after a few cocktails in 2010, and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro avoided prosecution on an assault charge during the show's first season in 2009.
