Coyote Crossing's Courtyard Happy Hour

Sip under the stars in Conshohocken

Now that Memorial Day has come and gone, we can safely break out our white shoes and really start to enjoy the outdoor drinking and dining season. Or at least we could if it weren't for this nonstop rain. Yes, we know the rain makes the plants grow and the flowers pretty, but this endless drizzle is really cramping our seasonal sipping.

As soon as it lets up, we look forward to sampling the charms of the outdoor courtyard at Coyote Crossing in Conshohocken, especially during happy hour. Make that happy hours. For the first time in its 14 year history, chef-owner Carlos Melendez is making happy hour available in the courtyard. Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. appetizers are half price, margaritas and glasses of wine are $5, and Dos Equis and Corona beers are $3. The specials are available at the bar area only.

Stick around late night on Friday (or Saturday) in the outdoor late-night lounge and you'll hit another round of drink specials as well as complimentary appetizers from 9 p.m. to midnight. Another good reason to wish the rain away.
