Boston's Pillow Fight

The location for the free event is Washington Square Park.

In light of the recent flash mobs sweeping our city the organizers of this event have changed the plans slightly. Instead of pillow fighting goodness spreading as soon as possible they will be hold a "moment of stillness" to show that this event is not about violence.

Participants are encouraged to wear the color blue on Saturday to show the city that there is a unified front standing for peace, for more information keep checking the Pillow Fight Day site or their Facebook page.

This “fight” does have some rules that participants should abide by so local police don't shut it down:

-Soft pillows only
-Swing lightly; many people will be swinging at once.
-Only pillows are allowed inside of your pillowcase.
-Do not swing at people without pillows or with cameras.
-Remove glasses beforehand
-Wait until the signal to begin.

So for those of you that enjoy good old-fashioned pillow fight and want to enjoy some beautiful spring weather come out swinging, this event is guaranteed to be a blast.
