Free Lunch Today

Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch? Because at Sampan on S. 13th St., there is.

Today, the Asian restaurant will be giving away a free pork ban mi sandwich, chips and a drink (non-alcoholic).

The free lunch is in honor of the debut of Chef Michael Schulson’s new lunch menu that will include a selection of bahn mi – Vietnamese hoagies – shrimp pad Thai, ramen noodle soup and wild mushroom or chicken bim bim bop salads.

”Our variety of bahn mi sandwiches, noodles and salads are perfect for a fast affordable lunch,” Chef Schulson said in a statement.

Menu prices range from $6 to $9.

Lunch will be served daily from 11:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. starting on Friday.

So, go ahead, take advantage.
