Military Gets in Free to Academy of Natural Sciences

All active military and their families get in free through Labor Day

All active military personnel and their families will be given free admission to the Academy of Natural Sciences this summer.

According to the Academy, active-duty service members and up to five family members will be granted complimentary admission. The offer is extended today through Labor Day, Sept. 5.

“We are proud of our military and are pleased that we can do something to show our
appreciation for their dedicated service,” said Academy President and CEO George W. Gephardt Jr.

The Academy joins more than 1,300 museums across the country offering the benefit through Blue Star Museums, a partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and Blue StarFamilies.

The Academy is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Regular admission is $12 for adults and $10 for seniors, students and children aged 3-12. Admission is free for children under 3.
