Get out to Franklin Square this weekend because it’s time to celebrate -- the Square is turning five!
Pack up the kids and head to 6th and Race on Sunday, July 31, for cake, crafts and plenty of outdoor fun.
The first 55 children get free rides on the Liberty Carousel and mini birthday bonanza sundaes from SquareBurger.
There will also be free birthday hats and a giant card for visitors to sign.
The fun starts at 11 a.m. and will continue until the Square closes at 9 p.m.
The outdoor oasis is located in the heart of Historic Philadelphia and features Philly Mini Golf, a renovated vintage marble fountain, playgrounds, the Liberty Carousel and SquareBurger by Stephen Starr.
