Help the Second Harvest Food Bank distribute food to soup kitchens and shelters for those in need this holiday season.
The Villas at Saucon Valley are beautiful custom condos. And even though their residents are living in luxury, they know the importance of giving back.
On Weds., Dec. 2 at 5 p.m., head to Lehigh Valley for the kickoff party for the 2009 Holiday Designer Showhouse where you can do your part to fight hunger by enjoying delicious samples from the best restaurants in the area -- Melt, Bolete, Apollo Grill, Edge, Blue Grillhouse, and Pacifico -- while raising money for the Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania.
You'll also enjoy fine wine, live music and a silent auction.
Tickets to the event are $50 a person with 100-percent of the proceeds going directly to Second Harvest.
Last year, the Second Harvest Food bank distributed 4.42 million pounds of food to hungry people during the holiday season -- so don't miss your chance to give back.
Direct donations to the food bank are also encouraged.
