Haunted Poe is sure to be just as creepy as this photo of the man himself.
Edgar Allan Poe is back from the dead to haunt Philly with his scariest tales and poems -- in the form of a haunted house, that is.
Haunted Poe will run from Oct. 1 to Nov. 1 in a 10,000-square-foot warehouse filled with puppets, hidden passageways, magic lanterns, optical illusions and more.
Any takers for Halloween night?
Down twisting hallways and through dark rooms, scenes from all of his scariest work will be featured -- "The Raven," "The Tell-tale Heart" and many more -- to send chills up the spines of even the bravest haunted house visitors.
Haunted Poe is being presented by Brat Productions, Philly's premiere avant-garde theater and is a unique, theatrical take on the typical haunted house. It promises to be full of suspense and plenty of spooks for all you Halloween lovers -- because let's face it, it's Edgar Allan Poe we're talking about.
The house is at 38 Jackson Street in Philly and will be open from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets range from $10 to $25, depending on what day of the week you decide to get your scare-on.
