Gamers will have a chance to play the game before release date in Philadelphia

It's Men Vs. Women in Mental Warfare at Love Park

Nintendo will celebrate the launch of its newest game "Professor Layton and the Unwound Future" with a challenge at Love Park in Center City with a battle of the sexes.

Participants will get to play the game nearly a week in advance of the scheduled release date. Scores from Men and Women will be tallied separately to see which gender reigns supreme when it comes to solving puzzles.

"Professor Layton and the Unwound Future" is a new hand-held game created exclusively for the Nintendo DS  family of systems.

The event is free and begins at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10.
