Filmmaker C.C. Webster is throwing the main event for the Drive-in Film Festival 2009 at the Delsea Drive-In in Vineland, NJ on Saturday, September 19.
Webster hopes the festival will keep drive-ins alive in America, while at the same time help promote independent films to a larger audience.
The two films playing at the festival are Gigantic starring Zooey Deschanel and John Goodman, and Paper Heart starring Michael Cera and Seth Rogen.
Most kids these days have never even seen a drive-in theater, so the Drive-in Film Festival 2009 is the perfect chance to show your kids a good old-fashioned night at the movies.
Just don’t leave them alone in the car with their date.
