Don't be a Scrooge! The Dickens' Festival is Here

The Dickens' Festival is a free family event that will transform the town of Narberth into 1840s London featuring Ebeneezer Scrooge and all the characters from “A Christmas Carol.”

You can be a part of it on Saturday, Dec. 11 from noon until 4 p.m.

Enjoy an entire "Christmas Carol"-themed day. Listen to authentic Victorian carolers, take horse and carriage rides through the streets of Narberth, check out the professional ice sculpting display and get your fortune read from gypsy fortune tellers.

There will also be craft activities and a scavenger hunt from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for the kiddies.

New features for the 2010 Narberth Dickens Festival include a free showing of the “Muppet Christmas Carol” at the Narberth Movie Theater, two puppet shows at the library, face painting and much more.
