Fish, Fireworks for the 4th

Add so sea life to your fireworks this weekend.

Check out the Adventure Aquarium’s Independence Day Splash on Saturday, an event that combines one-on-one time with the aquatic life and spectacular fireworks later on.

The exclusive July 4th weekend event in Camden, N.J. is geared towards families. Adult tickets are $20, and for kids 12 and under, tickets are $15.

The climax of the evening will happen at the aquarium’s promenade, where fireworks from the other side of the Delaware River will be on display.

If your own “minnows” don’t like loud fireworks noises, the view from inside Adventure Aquarium is great, too.

But before the fireworks, guests can walk around and visit the penguins, sharks, seals, hippopotamuses and other life forms that inhabit the aquarium.

You can photograph the sea life with the aquarium’s underwater divers as part of the event.

Want to get your hands dirty? The aquarium is also letting guests feed their African birds and stingrays.

For the special occasion, the aquarium will even be exhibiting its great hammerhead and various tiger sharks.

The event goes from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
