The Atlantic City International Power Boat Show is splashing back in to town next week. From Wednesday, Feb. 3 through Sunday, Feb. 7, the A.C. Boat Show will offer a wide variety of boats, gadgets and seminars to make even the newest boating fan feel like they have been sailing for years.

For the first time in its history, the show will feature sailboats alongside the usual powerboats shown every year. A special group will be on display during the show -- including the Beneteau 37, Catalina 445 and the Jeanneau 36.

Special featured events are also a big attraction this year. Check out the bikini contest being held Friday where Miss Boat Show 2010 will be named to the Man Cave Sweepstakes when one lucky contestant will win a 40” Sony Bravia LCD TV and a recliner club chair. There will also be a chance for wrestling fans to win a Wrestle Mania 2010 trip to Glendale, AZ.

For those of you looking to make this a family outing, don’t worry there are things for the children to enjoy. SpongeBob Square Pants will be making a special visit on Saturday along with WBEB Buzzbee. And if that doesn’t sell the kids on this year’s show then Twiggy the water skiing squirrel will surely do the trick. Twiggy is the aquatic sport-loving animal that will show her many talents behind a radio-controlled boat.

Twiggy will be performing every day of the show so be sure to get down to the A.C. Convention Center and see what’s she’s got.

Tickets are $12 for one-day admission and youth 15 and under get in free.

See Twiggy in action!
