9/11: Dancing, Drinking and Deserving Comedy

Killer Comedy: Known for his interesting made-up characters, comedian Kenny Williams will be at Philadelphia’s Laff House tonight. Williams has appeared on BET’s "Comic View", Def Comedy Jam and Martin Lawrence’s "First Amendment". Originally wanting to be an actor, Williams jumped into comedy on a whim and has been on the comedy circuit for years now. Help him achieve his goal by making you laugh until it hurts tonight at 8:30 p.m. Laff House, 221 South Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19147, $15.

New Music: Celebrate the release of the much-anticipated Blueprint 3 album by rapper, Jay-Z. Party and dance the night away at the new Cuban-inspired lounge, Q-ba Lounge, in Northern Liberties. Listen to great new music from Jay’s album as well as some of the hottest hip-hop, top 40, reggae, reggaeton and house being spun by DJ Casper. Rebel Entertainment and PR bring you $1 Mixed drinks until 10:30 p.m. and $3 beers all night. The event also includes specials on Tokyo Teas, Blue Long Islands and Moet Rose Mimosas.
