Fun at Fado: Local cover band, The Zone, will be at Fado tonight. The Zone’s known for their hard rock, pop rock and fun re-makes of some classic hits. They’ve been together since ’93 and have had an increased popularity in our area. The show starts at 10 p.m., but if you get there early, you can take advantage of Fado’s great Happy Hour. Specials include cheap pints of beer as well as shareable plates of food a whole group can enjoy. Fado Irish Pub, 1500 Locust Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19102, +21, 10 p.m.

Laughs at Helium: The hilarious Bill Burr will be at Helium tonight. Burr is known for his recurring role on season two of the Chappelle Show, regular stand-ups on the Late Show with David Letterman and several comedy specials on HBO and Comedy Central. His material reflects very important social and economical issues such as staying single, relentless women, animal population and going to church. See him tonight through September 12. Helium Comedy Club, 2031 Sansom Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19103, +21, $27.50, 8 p.m.

Aykroyd and Vodka: Pick up the latest vodka, Crystal Head, and get it signed by actor Dan Aykroyd. That’s right, Mr. Conehead, Ghostbuster, Blues Brother Aykroyd will be here in Philly to sign his newest bottle of liquor. Who knew such a hilarious actor and writer would be so interested in creating his own bottle of vodka, but Aykroyd’s been working on this for three years! Come visit him and buy his smooth vodka for just under $50.00. Wine & Spirits, 1218 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pa., 4 p.m.
