Collaborative Happy Hour: This month Marathon Grill and the Victor Center for Jewish Genetic Diseases have teamed up to raise awareness of Jewish genetic diseases. Beginning in the afternoon, get screened for 11 different Jewish diseases at the Victor Center. After you’ve been screened, head around the corner for a free drink at Marathon Grill whether it’s your first Collaborative event or if you’re a current or ex-member of the Jewish Bowling League. For all those who don’t qualify, don’t fret, you can still get your drink on with great specials and guest bartenders including NBCPhiladelphia.com’s own Dan Stamm. Stick around for DJ Kevin Kong and a partnership with the Haiti Professionals of Philadelphia at 10 p.m. where the cover charge and five-percent of bar sales will go to the organization.
