2/25: Comedy, Cheap Specials and a Concert

Whitney Cummings: Comedienne Whitney Cummings is in town for the first of three nights at Helium. Cummings is best known for work on MTV’s show, Punk’d and as a regular guest on Chelsea Lately’s roundtable. Her hilarious and often blunt personality has landed her work on the movie Made of Honor and appearances on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Conan O’BrienLast Call with Carson Daly Comics Unleashed and NESN's Comedy All-Stars. Arts & Music: See headliners Georgia Anne Muldrow and Dudley Perkins jam tonight at the Arts Garage. Electro-funk singer, Georgia Anne, is known for her work with Mos Def and Erykah Badu and is the daughter of jazz guitarist, Ronald Muldrow. Dudley, also known as Declaime, is a rapper and singer whose latest album is produced by electronic hip-hop deejay, Flying Lotus. Both musicians are also joined by Aquil, Electric Lady, Arcka and Dj Femstar. In between sets, have a walk around to see the art installation by Zahrah Aya.
