Pop Culture Art: Mindy Kober is a Texas-born artist whose pop culture work has received major attention recently. Kober’s paintings embody American characters as icons in recreational scenes. Lemon Ball: Come to the Lemon Ball this Saturday night to support the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a foundation dedicated to Alexandra “Alex” Scott’s dream of curing all kids with cancer. The fourth annual ball will include cocktails, dinner, presentations, silent and live auctions as well as entertainment provided by Grammy-nominated singer, Jordin Sparks and local group, Brandywine Valley Talent.
