    Moshpix: The biggest party this week may have went down the night before New Year's Eve. Close to 2,000 tickets were sold for the annual Eve of the Eve party Wednesday night at Union Station. The party raised funds for Highsight, an organization that raises scholarship money for kids to attend private schools in Chicago. Not sure if these party-goers will have enough energy to make another go at it Thursday night!

    Lemon Ball: Visit the Lemon Ball Saturday night and support the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a foundation dedicated to Alexandra “Alex” Scott’s dream of curing all kids with cancer. The annual “yellow tie” gala includes an open bar, desserts, presentations and silent and live auctions. Last year, the event raised over $1.5 million toward achieving Alex’s dream.     Hair O’ The Dog: Party in style Saturday night at the 17th Annual Hair O’ The Dog black-tie gala. Enjoy a top-shelf open bar, butlered and buffet hors d’oeuvres with plenty of music from Don’t Call Me Francis and DJ Jason Smith. Plus, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to Adopt-A-Pig, a new program designed to help children and their families cope as they fight cancer.     Jon Pusette-Dart: Pop-folk singer-songwriter Jon Pousette-Dart performs at the PSALM Saturday. During the 70s and 80s his band shared the stage with such greats like Peter Frampton, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor and The Byrds. Come here all the classics and a few new songs for less than $25.
