The Pennsylvania Turnpike lost something Sunday morning—a bridge!

Demolition experts removed the Valley Forge Road Bridge.

The span in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County along Route 252 allowed traffic to cross over the Pa. Turnpike near Valley Forge Park.

Workers had only six hours to knock down the bridge and clean up the debris.

The turnpike was temporarily closed between the Valley Forge and Downingtown interchanges so the work could be done.

The demolition was part of the six-lane widening project along the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
