The Restaurant Week cooking demonstrations in Reading Terminal Market wrap up today with a final appearance by Chef Marci Turney of Lolita.
Turney, who co-owns the popular Mexican restaurant with her partner Valerie Safran, will demonstrate cooking techniques and yes, there will be samples! The event starts at noon at La Cucina. Get there early as seating is limited to a mere 25 people. (That's about the same number of folks waiting for a table at the popular restaurant on a given night.)
Unfortunately, it probably wouldn't be prudent to BYOT to the event as you would to the restaurant -- your boss might frown on the tequila breath during your afternoon meeting. We are hoping she makes the restaurant's fabulous queso fundido though!
