SEPTA will be introducing the "Independence" pass, a one-day pass that features an unlimited number of rides, in April.

The pass, which was approved by SEPTA's board yesterday, was created to boost ridership and tourism.

The "Independence" pass will be available for $10 (individual) or $25 (family) and allows for unlimited access on all Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority vehicles and on Center City's "Philadelphia Phlash" trolleys from 9:30 a.m. on.
