Tryouts for the 2009-10 KiXX Dance Team are this Thursday.
Calling all dance and soccer lovin’ chicas. Tryouts for the 2009-10 Philadelphia KiXX dance team are this Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Liacouras Center.
Judging is based on more than just your moves in this tryout. The judges will also be looking at appearance and personality.
Registration for the event begins at 5:30 p.m. with warm-ups at 6:15 p.m. followed by choreography. Judging will begin promptly at 8 p.m., giving dancers a little over an hour to shake it before eliminations.
Of all the KiXX dance team hopefuls that come out, only 30 finalists will be chosen.
You are going to have to turn on that personality if you want to be selected for the 16-member squad. A personal interview with KiXX executives will determine whether or not you make the team.
All positions are up for grab and you must be 18 years old, as of September 1 of this year.
The squad performs at all KiXX home games and will also be featured in a calendar spread.
