Everyone (OK, maybe just us gals…) has the fantasy of being swept off their feet and onto the dance floor by their partner, a fantasy fueled by TV shows like "Dancing With The Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance." In reality (if you're lucky enough to go dancing in the first place), it's grinding on the dance floor of some overcrowded club -- not exactly the same thing.
In honor of Valentine's Day, Society Hill Dance Academy is hosting "Dances of Love," giving couples the opportunity to learn how to really dance with each other as professionals teach the fundamentals of the tango and rumba. Forget stuffy waltzes, these sexy Latin dances will have you getting up close and personal with your partner… remember, it's all in the hips!
Classes are $25 and last an hour. The evening begins with the rumba at 5:00 and ends with the tango at 9:00.
