Forget Prop 8! Parade and Party Instead

Wave that rainbow flag high this Sunday, June 14 for Pride Day/Flag Day presented by Philly Pride.

This annual event kicks off at noon with a parade that starts on the corner of 13th and Locust, moves through Old City and makes its way to Penn's Landing.

The Grand Marshals of the parade are Stephan A. Glassman and Rue Landa with Youth Grand Marshals Sergio Morales and Tanya Washington.

Pride Day continues long after the parade's over at the Penn's Landing's Pride Festival hosted by Alec Mapa (you've seen him on "Ugly Betty," and "You Don't Mess With the Zohan"). For $10, you'll get tons of live music, vendors, beverages (alcoholic and otherwise) and of course, the infamous Sisters "Dunk-a-Dyke" -- a one of a kind dunk tank!

Show your support for Philadelphia's gay community by coming out and celebrating!
