Do You Bleed… Red?

Join media celebrities, Phillies Broadcaster Tom McCarthy and the team's Ballgirls on Tuesday, March 31, for an American Red Cross blood drive at Citizens Bank Park--only one of the most interesting places you'll ever have a chance to give blood.

Simply show up to Citizens Bank Park and walk in through the Suite and Home Plate Club entrance any time between noon and 7 p.m., for your opportunity to mix and mingle with some of the biggest names in Philly media, and support a worthy cause.

The blood drive is held in conjunction with the Phillies’ Paint the Town Red Week, which runs through April 5. Not that we needed any help getting excited for the upcoming season opener.

All who donate will receive a special ticket discount for a future Phillies game, as well as a tour of Citizen’s Bank Park.

Plus, we’re told the Red Phanatic will be there, taking photos with fans who donate. Which leaves us with two questions: What the heck’s a Red Phanantic, and does the actual mascot bleed green, or red?
