Go green this week as some organizations celebrate Earth Day on April 22 in some traditional and not-so traditional ways.
Normally people celebrate Earth Day by planting trees and replacing light bulbs -- but this year there are more activities and offers for those who love the environment.
Hear Jeffrey Sachs speak at the National Constitution Center. The Columbia University Earth Institute economic adviser will be speaking about environmental conditions on Earth Day at 6 p.m. Admission is $15.

The bus company sees the importance of getting cars off the road and more people on buses for more environmentally friendly transportation.

The celebration of Earth continues this weekend.
The Philadelphia Zoo is holding off their Earth Day Party for the Planet. The event takes place on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Zoo party will feature music, games and information about local environmental organizations. Guests are encouraged to bring old sneakers, cell phones, plastic bottles and newspapers to recycle. The party is free with admission to the Philadelphia Zoo.
