This dynamic duo will be rockin' the house at Citizens Bank Park this July.
The much-hyped (online, TV, news print, radio and word of mouth) Billy Joel and Elton John isn't until July 30 but tickets are already gone.
The duo's Face 2 Face Citizens Bank show sold out in about 20 minutes, according to promoter Comcast-Spectacor.
this isn't the first time that the Rocket Man and Piano Man will be sitting on stage together in the City of Brotherly Love.
This marks the third time that Joel and John will play together in Philly. They also rocked the Vet for a three-night stand in 1994 and the Wachovia Center for a record tying six-night-stand in 2002.
As is normally the case for a big stadium show, there is still some hope if you are sans ticket for the show. Craigslist, EBay and
Stub Hub all have hundreds of tickets for purchase -- if you're willing to fork over even more cash than the $51.50 to $197 face value.
